An excellent buy.
I saw a video clip of one of this charger versus a competitor’s charger. First they held the plastic cases over a naked flame and then they placed them in an oven at 140 deg C. The other one was a mangled mess but the Nitecore one was intact so it is very very fire proof. I didn’t realise at the time but these chargers are held in high esteem amongst mod vapers. For what I paid it was an absolute bargain. I noticed that it will normallly charge two 18650 batteries to 91-92% before the over charge protection cuts in. This may be for battery protection and/or long life. I can get them to 100% but only by charging from the supplied USB cable but it’s advised only to use a charger for these types of battery. It would be nice to be able to have a charge % as opposed to only four l.e.d. lights, probably available if you buy a higher spec model.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Nice little mains charger
I have various other (cheap) chargers for my 18650 batteries but this really does eclipse them all. There are options for varying current & voltage but it's far easier just to let the charger make the decisions - clip in the batteries and away it goes. It can be mains (lead supplied) or from a 12V source (lead NOT supplied). There has been mention elsewhere of a burning smell but mine's just fine and I'm a very happy bunny.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Nice charger, no negative aspects.
In all honesty I didn't read the instructions the first time I used this, just popped the batteries in and pushed a few buttons after a fashion off it went charging. Then sat down and read them, found this charger has several settings for different batteries, the instructions are easy to understand and the charger is easy to use. An Intelligent battery charger.A good all rounder able to charge NiCd , Ni-MH, Li-ion and LiFePO4 battery types in AAAA - AAA - AA - C and D sizes. Great charger!!
Great charger just put your batteries in turn the uk plug on and hey presto charging batteries. Led lights indicate charge status simple and effective not keen on usb a style ones so the wall plug is fantastic. Charges my 18650 batteries no issues and feels quality too.

The only charger needed for batteries upto 18650

A brilliant bit of kit
Well made and well thought out, it does what it says on the tin perfectly, then the red neon changes to green when it's fully charged, and it stops charging. Exactly what I wanted.
